October 1, 2009 - 4th Annual Toyota Car Lottery Kick Off Today - Thank you for your interest in the 2009 Car Lottery fundraiser in support of Special Olympics PEI! This year our goal is to sell 2,500 tickets in PEI (last year we sold 1,957 tickets) and with the help of volunteers, athletes and their families, Home Hardware stores and Toyota dealers, I’m confident we can reach that goal!

If you’re interested in buying a ticket on the 2009 Car Lottery, any Home Hardware stores or Toyota dealer across PEI will be happy to sell you a ticket!

If you’re interested in taking tickets to sell to your friends and family, please contact Tracey at 368-8919 or at tracey@sopei.com to get your ticket package today (and hey, if you’re able to sell 10 tickets, that will go a long way in reaching our goal- of course, if you sell more, that’s fantastic!

About the Special Olympics Car Lottery

• Tickets are $10 each. There is not a buy three deal. Sell 3 tickets = $30.
• This is a joint fundraiser between Special Olympics PEI, NS and NB.
• There is 20,000 tickets available (in all three provinces) to sell.
• The money from tickets sold on PEI will stay on PEI and go to Special Olympics PEI
• Grand Prize: 2009 Toyota Camry LE -valued at $26,400 (tickets sold in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and PEI are eligible to win this grand prize). (Thank you to Toyota Canada and Toyota Atlantic dealers for donating this car!),
  

Provincial Draws:

• Vacation package for 2, value of $2,500.00*. The winner gets to pick their destination!
