Community
Special Olympics PEI is divided
into four community council across the province; Kings County, Central
County, East Prince County and West Prince County. These community
council represent Special Olympics PEI on a grass root level and
offer sport opportunity to anyone with an intellectual disability
who wish to join.
Each region offers community sport
programs to individuals of any age with an intellectual disability.
Those as young as 2 can participate in our Active Start and FUNdamentals
programs or as old as 80 in our Adult Program and any age in between.
Within each region, there are community
sport programs and within each sport program, there are a number
of sports available to participate in. To find out which sport programs
and sports that are available in your community, please select your
region.
These community council represent
Special Olympics PEI on a community level.
